As Director of Strategic Accounts, you will lead the sales effort for Decagon's largest and most complex enterprise customers. You'll develop and execute strategies to break into and close key strategic logos, building deep relationships with stakeholders across customer organizations—from CX and product leaders to operations executives. Your role requires understanding each customer's business challenges and strategic priorities to uncover expansion opportunities.
Key responsibilities include developing account plans for strategic deals, collaborating with internal teams (founders, deployment strategists, engineers) to deliver tailored solutions, forecasting and reporting on pipeline and revenue, and providing product feedback to influence the company's roadmap. You'll maintain expert-level knowledge of Decagon's products, services, and industry trends, and expect moderate travel.
You bring 7+ years of enterprise or strategic sales experience with a proven track record of growing revenue and expanding business with large, complex accounts. You excel at consultative selling, have strong C-suite communication and negotiation skills, and can manage multiple stakeholders and cross-functional initiatives. A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required. Experience selling AI or customer support/experience software is a plus.
