Simile is an AI company that simulates human behavior at scale to help organizations make better decisions. Founded five months ago, the company has already grown revenue 5x, raised over $200M at a $2B valuation, and serves F100 enterprises including CVS Health, Wealthfront, Deloitte, and Gallup. The company is building the infrastructure to represent all eight billion people on earth through AI-powered human behavior simulation. This role owns Simile's external narrative and how the company shows up to the world. You will craft and evangelize the company story, setting editorial vision and running the engine behind it hands-on. Key responsibilities include: developing a clear, opinionated point of view on what Simile is building and why it matters; identifying monthly and quarterly narrative moments and building the editorial calendar; finding and acting on press, conference, and podcast opportunities; ensuring Simile lands in customer-facing publications and industry lists; running an active company blog with posts every one to two weeks, largely through ghostwriting for founders and team members; owning creative direction on all company videos from concept to final cut; and reaching enterprise decision-makers with the company narrative. You must have exceptional creative taste with a strong instinct for original, emotionally true work backed by a portfolio of published or produced pieces. You should be able to find the emotional or cultural truth inside complex technical subjects and communicate it without clichés. Creative courage is essential—you're willing to challenge B2B conventions and pursue new playbooks. Experience building systems from scratch in early-stage environments is critical. Nice-to-haves include multidisciplinary creative practice (directing across image, motion, interaction, experience), enterprise empathy, existing press/podcast/conference relationships, experience telling stories about technical or AI products in new categories, and proof of personal reach or distribution.
