Apptronik is seeking a Staff Video Producer to lead the company's visual storytelling strategy for Apollo, a humanoid AI-powered robot designed for manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and beyond. This is a senior individual contributor role reporting to marketing leadership, responsible for end-to-end video production and creative direction.
You will serve as the creative engine behind Apptronik's video strategy, translating complex robotics and deep-tech innovations into cinematic, compelling narratives. Core responsibilities include writing and conceptualizing high-impact video content for product launches and digital campaigns; producing and directing shoots from ideation through final delivery; directing on-set talent (engineers, executives, actors) with a focus on premium commercial aesthetics; and managing production logistics, schedules, and cross-functional coordination.
While your primary strength is creative direction, writing, and production management, you are a true multi-hyphenate with secondary expertise in video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro) and stills photography. You will handle quick-turn digital cuts and promotional assets in-house, while collaborating with external motion graphics and finishing partners on major campaigns. You'll also capture product, behind-the-scenes, and environmental photography to support multi-channel marketing.
You will partner closely with C-suite executives, product managers, and engineering teams to turn technical breakthroughs into engaging visual narratives. This role requires 10+ years of professional experience writing, producing, and directing video content. Preferred background includes hard-tech, automotive, or consumer electronics; robotics experience is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, Marketing, or equivalent professional experience required.
