Docker is seeking a Staff Solutions Engineer to lead technical sales, partner enablement, and developer community engagement across India, Docker's third-largest APAC market. This role combines direct enterprise customer engagement, channel partner enablement, and technical evangelism across India's massive developer community.
Key responsibilities include:
**Partner Enablement & Channel Development:** Enable Docker's channel partner ecosystem (SIs, IT services, VARs, hyperscaler partners) through joint workshops, technical enablement, PoC support, and development of partner-ready technical assets. Build relationships with key channel contacts and support pipeline development across direct and partner-sourced opportunities.
**Developer Community & Evangelism:** Build Docker's technical presence across India's DevSecOps and cloud-native communities in major hubs (Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Delhi NCR, Mumbai). Speak at industry conferences, produce technical content (blogs, guides, solution briefs), and represent Docker at meetups, developer days, and hackathons.
**Strategic Customer Engagement:** Lead deep technical discovery at strategic accounts across Platform Engineering, DevOps, Security, and AI teams. Understand AI governance, software supply chain security, regulatory drivers (DPDP Act, CERT-In, RBI/SEBI/MeitY requirements), and container security posture. Design and execute structured PoCs with clear success criteria, influence buying decisions through technical briefings, and support renewal/expansion motions.
**AI Solutions Advocacy:** Position Docker's AI portfolio (MCP Gateway, AI Governance, Hardened Images, Sandbox) as the governance and security layer for AI-native development. Guide customers in implementing AI governance controls, act as SME on secure software supply chain and AI security, and develop reusable technical assets to scale impact.
The role reports to the SE Leader, APAC, and includes periodic travel to Southeast Asia for regional coverage. This is a high-impact position at the intersection of enterprise sales, technical enablement, and developer community leadership in one of the world's largest and most active developer markets.
