Clara is a fast-growing fintech company in Latin America providing payment infrastructure, corporate cards, bill pay, and financing solutions to over 20,000 businesses. The AI Enablement team builds the AI infrastructure and tooling that powers the rest of Clara's engineering organization. You'll own the frontend architecture of Clara Builders, an internal skills marketplace and self-service app platform built on Next.js 15 (App Router), TypeScript, React, and Tailwind/shadcn/ui. This is a full-stack role: you'll extend backend services (Prisma/Postgres), work directly with the Cloudflare AI Gateway layer that proxies multiple LLM providers, and build agent infrastructure including a Figma-to-code MCP agent, documentation-sync agent, and n8n automation flows already in production. Key responsibilities include owning frontend architecture and component systems, extending backend data models and auth flows, managing the self-service Dokploy deployment pipeline (staging/beta/production with environment lifecycle controls), working in the AI Gateway layer to add providers and expose new models, building and extending agent infrastructure, designing new AI tooling from scratch (OAuth Clients and unified access proposals are currently in progress), and contributing to GitHub org access models with self-service OAuth-based membership. You'll set the technical bar for frontend and AI-tooling work across the pod through code review and your own standards. Clara operates with a pod model where engineers have high autonomy to define scope within team goals and drive initiatives end-to-end without task assignment. Required: solid foundation in modern frontend engineering (React, Next.js App Router, TypeScript, Tailwind/shadcn), real evidence of building on top of LLMs (agents, MCP servers, LLM gateway patterns, automation pipelines—not just using Copilot), comfort stepping into backend work (Postgres, Prisma, OAuth/NextAuth, API design), high autonomy and ownership mindset, and English proficiency. Nice-to-have: experience with design-to-code pipelines, design systems, or internal developer platforms.
