IonQ is seeking a Staff Product Marketing Manager for Space Solutions to lead go-to-market strategy for the company's space portfolio within its Quantum Platform division. Reporting to the Head of Product Marketing, Quantum Platform, this role will shape market positioning and narrative for space systems, SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) capabilities, mission solutions, and quantum-enabled space capabilities.
The role operates at the intersection of product, engineering, sales, marketing, and leadership. You will translate complex quantum and space technologies into differentiated positioning, launch strategies, and revenue-driving narratives that accelerate market adoption and support pipeline growth in space, defense, intelligence, and allied government markets.
Key responsibilities include defining and evolving narrative, positioning, and messaging for Space Solutions across customer segments; owning go-to-market strategy, launches, and cross-functional alignment; serving as a strategic market partner to product and technical leadership; connecting product development decisions to customer needs, competitive dynamics, and market opportunity; influencing launch priorities and roadmap communication through customer insight and competitive intelligence; and leveraging AI-assisted workflows to accelerate production while creating time for strategic work and customer insight.
This is a strategy and execution role requiring independent drive, deep collaboration, customer-voice orientation, and comfort operating with autonomy in highly technical, mission-driven, and evolving markets. The position offers hybrid flexibility from the Denver office or fully remote (US-based). Travel up to 5% domestic or international.
