Okta is seeking a Staff Product Marketing Manager for Security to lead go-to-market strategy and execution for the company's access management and secure-access solutions. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Product Marketing, you will own the product marketing charter for Okta's foundational access services, positioning them as essential pillars of Zero Trust and AI security for Global 2000 enterprises. Key responsibilities include building and executing GTM strategy for core and hybrid access services, defining market narratives and competitive positioning, and driving Global 2000 expansion. You will collaborate to advance Okta's point of view on securing human, machine, and AI-agent identities, publishing thought leadership that shapes the category. The role requires fluency in AI security implications and active use of AI tooling across research, competitive analysis, content generation, and field enablement to drive higher-quality outputs. You will serve as a technical evangelist, collaborating with Technical Marketing to build demos, reference architectures, and proof kits that resonate with practitioners and shorten security evaluations. You'll act as a spokesperson with CISOs, architects, and analysts, translating deep technical capability into strategic business outcomes. Cross-functional collaboration with Product, Sales, and Customer Success is essential—you'll launch offers, equip the field with talk tracks and ROI models, and lead deal-acceleration plays on the largest enterprise opportunities. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of product marketing or product management experience in cybersecurity or identity management (IAM, Active Directory, Entra ID). You are a technologist at heart with a track record of supporting technical evaluations, configuring and demoing products to technical buyers, and turning complex under-the-hood technology into urgent business narratives. You excel at influencing cross-functional leaders and driving complex programs to deadline. Extra credit for CS degrees, strong systems architecture backgrounds, deep experience with modern identity protocols and hybrid environments, or prior AI security experience.
