Brex is seeking a Staff Product Designer to lead design strategy and execution across product initiatives. You will work with Product and Engineering teams to establish and communicate a strong design standard that positions Brex as a leader in financial innovation. This is a strategic role where you'll contribute to both short and long-term product direction while maintaining high visual standards and a relentless focus on user needs. Key responsibilities include: establishing and executing vision for team initiatives; challenging the status quo and inspiring teams toward unified outcomes; efficiently shipping products that deliver business and customer impact; partnering with leadership to communicate strategy and influence design outcomes; working across the entire business stack from vision and strategy through execution and operational support; contributing to scaling design across the organization; maintaining a high design bar; and collaborating closely with Engineering, Product, Operations, and Data teams to define and launch new products and features. You'll bring strong written and verbal communication skills with talent for articulating strategy and leading cross-functional alignment meetings. You have experience working cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, design, and product teams. You're skilled at crafting clear narratives and painting compelling visions that align teams. You're passionate about team building and development, with an owner's mentality and pride in both your work and your team's contributions. Brex's design team creates experiences that make complex financial systems feel effortless through thoughtful, scalable design. Whether crafting interfaces, shaping product strategy, or leveraging AI to empower users, the team obsesses over quality and clarity. This is a hybrid role based in Seattle, San Francisco, or New York, requiring three days per week in office (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday) with up to four weeks per year of fully remote work flexibility.
