As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience and visual design of Waabi's autonomous vehicle platforms and related products. You'll work at the intersection of AI, hardware, and user experience—designing interfaces and experiences for complex autonomous systems that impact commercial transportation at scale.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading design strategy and execution for product features across autonomous vehicle platforms
- Collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and AI researchers to translate complex technical capabilities into intuitive user experiences
- Conducting user research and usability testing with stakeholders in the logistics and transportation industry
- Developing design systems, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Mentoring junior designers and establishing design best practices
- Iterating rapidly based on feedback and real-world deployment learnings
