Brex is seeking a Staff Product Designer to lead design strategy and execution across the intelligent finance platform. You will work with Product and Engineering teams to establish and evolve Brex's design standards, ensuring complex financial systems feel effortless and intuitive. This is a strategic role where you'll contribute to short and long-term product direction, maintain high visual standards, and champion user-centered design across the organization.
Key responsibilities include: establishing and executing vision for team initiatives; challenging the status quo and driving innovation; efficiently shipping products that deliver business and customer impact; partnering with leadership to communicate strategy and influence design outcomes; working across the entire product stack from vision and strategy through execution and operational support; growing and scaling design across the broader company and Design org; maintaining high design standards and execution quality; and collaborating closely with Engineering, Product, Operations, and Data teams to define and launch new products and features.
You'll bring strong written and verbal communication skills with talent for articulating strategy and leading cross-functional alignment meetings. You have experience working cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, design, and product teams. You're skilled at crafting clear narratives and painting compelling visions that align teams. You're passionate about team building and development, with an owner's mentality and pride in both your work and your team's contributions.
The role is based in San Francisco, Seattle, or New York with a hybrid model requiring three days per week in office (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday), plus up to four weeks annually of fully remote work. This is an opportunity to shape the design direction of a leading fintech platform used by tens of thousands of world-class companies including DoorDash, Coinbase, Robinhood, Zoom, and Plaid.
