Robinhood is seeking a Staff Performance Marketing Manager to own the complete lifecycle marketing technology roadmap and lead development of internal tools managing $200M+ in annual paid media spend. This role serves as the primary bridge between marketing and engineering, translating business requirements into clear technical specifications and scalable solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the lifecycle marketing technology roadmap in partnership with marketing leadership, aligning technical investments with growth, incentive programs, and personalization at scale.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions, converting marketing requirements into clear specs while surfacing technical dependencies and risks early.
- Lead build-versus-buy evaluations for key capabilities such as journey orchestration, personalization engines, and new channels, assessing tradeoffs across cost, speed, scalability, and flexibility.
- Maintain deep fluency in the CRM/lifecycle marketing technology landscape, staying ahead of emerging innovations and benchmarking Robinhood's capabilities against competitors.
- Define and evangelize quality standards for lifecycle marketing technology, translating industry-leading practices into concrete roadmap priorities and success metrics.
- Lead development of internal tools to manage $200M+ in annual paid media spend, translating operational complexity into clear engineering requirements.
- Design systems to improve paid media ROI by integrating AI tools with human expertise across creative production, budget optimization, and channel management.
- Design systems connecting Paid Media, Growth Engagement, and product onboarding experiences, ensuring instrumented and personalized hand-offs from acquisition to activation.
- Serve as connective tissue between lifecycle marketing, performance marketing, and engineering teams.
- Own outcomes by defining success metrics, tracking adoption and conversion, and driving iteration until tooling delivers measurable business results.
The role is based in Menlo Park, CA or New York, NY with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. This is an opportunity to shape the technology driving customer acquisition, activation, and long-term retention at a high-growth fintech company.
