Shield AI, a venture-backed defense-tech company, is seeking a Staff Business Systems Analyst to lead the Record to Report (R2R) end-to-end implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud. This is a strategic, high-impact role combining deep ERP expertise with finance process leadership.
Primary responsibilities include acting as the business lead for the full R2R implementation lifecycle—from requirements gathering and process design through system configuration, UAT, data migration, cutover, go-live, and hypercare. You will lead cross-functional workshops to document current-state Finance processes and define future-state workflows within Oracle Fusion Cloud, translating outputs into functional specifications for General Ledger, Subledger Accounting, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Intercompany, Allocations, Account Reconciliation Cloud (ARCS), Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS), Enterprise Data Management (EDMCS), and Financial Reporting Studio.
You will oversee data migration strategy, execution, and validation for all financial master data, including supplier records, open balances, and historical transaction data. Working closely with the ERP implementation partner, you will hold the systems integrator accountable to scope, quality, and delivery timelines against Oracle Cloud implementation methodology, escalating risks and issues to the steering committee as needed.
Beyond implementation, you will serve as the strategic owner for all Record to Report processes and systems, partnering with IT to support Oracle Fusion Cloud system architecture, integration health (including Oracle Integration Cloud interfaces), and a forward-looking technology roadmap. You will identify and implement process automation and standardization opportunities, lead ongoing process optimization using Oracle Cloud quarterly releases and workflow automations, and partner with Internal Audit and IT Security to ensure SOX compliance and segregation-of-duties controls.
Additional responsibilities include leading change management and training initiatives to drive user adoption, building a network of R2R super users and process champions, managing post-implementation hypercare and enhancement prioritization, and evaluating Oracle quarterly release features for business impact and adoption readiness.
Required: BA/BS degree or equivalent; 8+ years with large ERP systems; 3–5 years hands-on with Oracle Fusion Cloud (GL, Subledger Accounting, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, ARCS, FCCS, EDMCS, Financial Reporting Studio, OTBI). Strong process design, data migration, and cross-functional leadership skills essential.
