You will work cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, clinical operations, and finance to measure performance, quantify commercial and clinical impact, and shape experimentation strategy for AI-driven experiences including patient-facing chat assistants and internal care-team tools.
Key responsibilities include: providing thought leadership to AI product stakeholders and influencing roadmap decisions with data-driven insights; owning experimentation strategy for AI launches using platforms like GrowthBook, including test design, success metrics, and results interpretation; applying causal inference and quasi-experimental methods (fixed-effects models, difference-in-differences, propensity score matching) to assess AI impact on retention and clinical outcomes when randomized tests aren't feasible; defining and validating metrics frameworks for new AI use cases from pre-launch instrumentation through post-launch readouts; partnering with ML/Applied AI teams to evaluate model performance in production and translate model signals into product and business metrics; owning commercial impact analysis including cost savings, handle-time efficiency, and support deflection quantification; collaborating with AI/ML Engineering, Analytics Engineering, and Data Engineering teams on tracking requirements and data integrity; developing scalable analytical solutions in Python or R alongside SQL for observational studies and retention modeling; designing intuitive Looker dashboards to democratize AI product metrics; conducting deep-dive analyses including user/session segmentation to identify performance patterns and opportunity areas; and championing data quality and documentation across dbt models and BigQuery tables while mentoring junior analysts.
Required qualifications: 8+ years in analytics, data science, or related quantitative field; Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; 5+ years designing, executing, and analyzing A/B tests, ideally on AI/ML-driven products; experience partnering with ML teams to evaluate model outputs and translate them into product/business metrics; extensive experience with data engineering and analytics engineering teams including dbt-modeled production pipelines; strong knowledge of experimental design and statistical inference with experience applying causal inference techniques beyond standard A/B testing; experience with subscription-based business models and metrics including cohort analysis, retention/churn analysis, and addressability sizing; expert SQL skills (BigQuery preferred) and advanced Looker or Tableau experience; ability to explain technical analyses to non-technical audiences including senior leadership; experience shaping and influencing product strategy; and proactive, ownership-driven mindset with strong organizational skills.
Preferred qualifications include experience evaluating conversational AI or LLM-based products, familiarity with telehealth and subscription-based healthcare models, experience with GrowthBook or comparable experimentation platforms, survival analysis or time-to-event modeling experience, and dbt, Airflow, and Databricks experience.
