The Payment Integrations Analyst role is critical to ensuring data accuracy and integrity across chargeback operations. This position bridges Operations and Engineering, translating operational challenges into technical investigations and communicating findings back to stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Research payment service providers (PSPs) to understand their data structures, workflows, and reporting standards
- Map, normalize, and validate data from external systems to align with internal systems
- Monitor operational systems, dashboards, and application logs to identify data anomalies and breakdowns in the chargeback lifecycle
- Triage incoming issues, investigate them technically, and escalate to engineering with clear, reproducible context
- Conduct root-cause analysis to resolve data discrepancies and ensure accurate case handling
- Query internal databases using SQL to analyze trends and troubleshoot issues
- Collaborate with product, operations, and engineering teams to resolve edge cases and maintain data integrity
- Communicate with PSP representatives to clarify data formats and investigate integration issues
- Leverage AI tools to enhance data processing, research, and workflow efficiency
- Contribute to internal process documentation and best practices
