Fizz is a Gen Z social platform that started as America's largest college social app and is now expanding globally. The company has achieved >95% undergraduate adoption at 700+ colleges, raised a $25M Series B in July 2023, and recently hit #1 on the App Store in Saudi Arabia. The company is now pursuing three primary goals: expanding to the entire US college market, driving revenue through advertising, and rapidly expanding to non-college students domestically and internationally.
As Senior Manager of User Acquisition, you will own and scale Fizz's paid growth engine as the company expands beyond college campuses into the broader US market and internationally. This is a builder role—you'll be an early hire for the performance marketing team, responsible for setting strategy, standing up infrastructure, and running campaigns hands-on.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own paid acquisition end-to-end across all channels (TikTok, Snap, Meta, Apple Search Ads, and emerging platforms) for both US expansion and international market entry
- Lead international growth strategy by identifying priority markets, localizing creative and targeting, and navigating platform and attribution challenges in non-US environments
- Manage the mobile measurement partner (MMP) stack, maintaining integration with Airbridge, ensuring clean attribution, deep link tracking, SKAdNetwork compliance, and fraud monitoring
- Build a full-funnel measurement framework connecting paid acquisition data to in-app product analytics—tracking installs, signups, retention, engagement, and community activation by cohort, channel, and creative
- Partner with Product and Engineering to instrument the right events, interpret retention curves, and feed performance insights back into campaign strategy
- Own creative strategy and testing by developing a rigorous framework across static, video, and UGC formats; collaborate with design and social teams to iterate on winning concepts
You'll sit at the intersection of marketing, product, and data. The role requires understanding that great performance marketing goes beyond CAC—it's about finding the right users, in the right markets, at the right moment, and validating that growth actually works through product and retention data.
