Vanta is a Series D security and compliance platform that helps businesses earn and prove trust through continuous security monitoring and verification. As Senior Technical Sourcer, you will own the full strategy and execution of sourcing efforts for niche and leadership engineering roles, with a focus on building pipelines for critical senior-level technical positions.
You will develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies to identify and attract top technical talent, utilizing advanced techniques including direct outreach, talent mapping, networking, and engagement with professional communities and conferences. You'll build and nurture relationships with passive candidates to maintain a strong talent pipeline, collaborating closely with recruiting and hiring teams to understand needs, align on priorities, and refine strategies based on market intelligence.
A key part of this role is leveraging data-driven insights to optimize sourcing performance and serving as a trusted advisor to hiring managers. You'll champion AI-first recruiting practices by integrating emerging AI tools into sourcing workflows to improve candidate engagement, pipeline quality, and operational efficiency.
Success requires 6+ years of technical sourcing experience in high-growth tech environments, with a proven track record building sourcing strategies for senior and specialty technical roles. You need expertise in multiple sourcing channels and AI sourcing tools, strong research and talent mapping skills for hard-to-fill roles, and excellent communication abilities. You should be a self-starter with high autonomy, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced startup environments. Openness to using AI to amplify skills and strengthen work—demonstrating curiosity and sound judgment—is essential.
