Rockerbox (part of DoubleVerify) is building next-generation marketing intelligence and AI systems. As a Senior Software Engineer II in AI Tooling and Interfaces, you'll design and build systems purpose-built for AI agents, automations, and decisioning engines that drive measurable outcomes for clients and internal teams.
You'll work closely with engineers, product managers, and data teams to identify and prioritize AI opportunities across the organization. Your responsibilities include translating product requirements into AI-driven solutions, building end-to-end automations using LLMs and internal/external data to eliminate repetitive tasks, and designing agentic workflows and orchestration pipelines that automate complex multi-step processes. You'll also design retrieval, orchestration, and memory layers that make AI agents smarter over time, and establish best practices for AI data quality, observability, and safety.
You bring 6+ years of software engineering, data engineering, or large-scale distributed systems experience. You have hands-on production experience integrating LLMs (embeddings, RAG, vector stores, agent orchestration), strong proficiency in Python and SQL, and experience with Kubernetes and container-based infrastructure. You think in systems—storage, retrieval, metadata, reliability, latency, failure modes—and can work from ambiguity to execution. You communicate clearly about tradeoffs, scope decisions, and technical strategy.
