CIQ builds enterprise infrastructure powering demanding workloads across operating systems, AI infrastructure, high-performance computing, and cloud-native orchestration. The company is the founding support partner of Rocky Linux and developer of RLC Pro Enterprise Linux distributions, Fuzzball workload orchestration, Warewulf Pro cluster provisioning, and Ascender Pro automation, serving major enterprises, government agencies, and research institutions in HPC, AI/ML, defense, and regulated industries.
As Senior Solutions Architect, you will be the technical lead supporting CIQ's go-to-market efforts in Japan, partnering closely with the Senior Account Executive. You will engage prospects, enable partners, and ensure technical success across pre-sales and post-sales engagements, designing solutions using CIQ's full product portfolio.
Key responsibilities include: collaborating with sales to understand customer needs and design appropriate solutions; delivering product demonstrations, technical presentations, and hands-on workshops; leading technical discovery sessions, solution architecture design, and proof-of-concept deployments; providing guidance on infrastructure integration, deployment best practices, and performance tuning; supporting partner enablement through technical training and architecture guidance to system integrators and resellers; and serving as a bridge between customers and CIQ engineering to advocate for product enhancements and roadmap alignment.
You will be a senior-level technical expert with strong customer-facing experience and deep familiarity with Linux-based infrastructure. You are passionate about open source and confident supporting performance-intensive environments including HPC, AI/ML, and hybrid cloud. You bring proven experience in solutions architecture, pre-sales engineering, or customer success roles within infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise software. You have excellent communication skills, can translate technical concepts for business stakeholders, and thrive in a customer-centric, collaborative environment.
