Neo4j is seeking a Senior Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth across the Southeast territory (Texas, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia preferred). This role combines strategic territory planning with hands-on enterprise sales execution, targeting organizations in data warehousing, business intelligence, data science, and AI/ML sectors.
You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing, developing and executing a strategic territory plan to build a robust pipeline and achieve quarterly/annual sales objectives. Key responsibilities include becoming a product expert, delivering compelling demos and proposals that articulate business value, leading complex solution-based sales cycles using methodologies like Land & Expand, and managing relationships with key decision-makers including CTOs and IT leaders.
You'll collaborate closely with solution engineering, marketing, professional services, and field teams to ensure customer success. The role includes mentoring Business Development Representatives and Field Marketing resources, maintaining CRM data integrity, and developing strategic partnerships with public cloud providers (AWS, Google, Microsoft Azure) to drive growth opportunities.
The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of proven enterprise software sales success with a track record of exceeding targets. You should have demonstrated experience managing complex sales processes in enterprise markets, deep understanding of commercial open-source business models (on-premise, cloud, and SaaS hybrid solutions), and familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger Sales. Strong presentation and communication skills, ability to build business champions, and experience collaborating across cross-functional teams are essential.
Preferred qualifications include experience selling complex technical solutions with subscription-based and cloud deployment models, knowledge of graph technology and advanced data-driven technologies, and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Proficiency in standard corporate tools (Google Docs, Salesforce, MS Office) is expected.
