Salary: USD 280,000 - 330,000 / annual
Neo4j is seeking a Senior Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth in the Greater Boston Area (MA, CT, NH territory). You will own a strategic territory plan targeting key organizations, building a robust pipeline, and achieving quarterly and annual sales objectives.
In this role, you'll execute complex enterprise sales cycles for Neo4j's graph intelligence platform—a category-leading solution trusted by 84 Fortune 100 companies. You'll become a product expert, delivering compelling demos and proposals that articulate business value to technical and business decision-makers (CTOs, IT leaders, technical end users). You'll employ solution-based selling strategies including the Land & Expand model to grow accounts from new logos through expansion.
Key responsibilities include: developing and executing territory strategy; managing the full sales process from prospecting to closing; providing mentorship to Business Development Representatives and Field Marketing resources; maintaining CRM data integrity; and building strategic partnerships with public cloud providers (AWS, Google, Microsoft Azure) to drive growth opportunities.
You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Solution Engineering (pre-sales), Marketing, Professional Services, and Channel Partners to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term success.
Required: 7+ years of proven enterprise software sales success with consistent track record of exceeding targets. Demonstrated experience managing complex sales processes in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Science, AI/ML, or related fields. Deep understanding of commercial open-source business models, including on-premise and cloud/SaaS hybrid solutions. Ability to independently develop and close new client relationships while managing long-term engagements. Familiarity with sales methodologies (MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales). Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred: Experience selling complex technical solutions with subscription-based and cloud deployment models. Knowledge of graph technology, data management tools, or advanced data-driven technologies. Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
