Snowflake is seeking a Senior District Manager to lead sales strategy and execution across a designated district in Japan. In this role, you will drive continuous revenue growth through district strategy development, team building, and deal advancement.
Key responsibilities include: developing and executing district-level sales strategies with quarterly and annual targets; building and coaching a high-performing Account Executive team through recruitment, development, and performance management; establishing executive relationships with C-suite and IT leaders to become a trusted advisor on data strategy; advancing pipeline and deal management through account planning and forecast accuracy; leading large strategic deals from formation through close and expansion; collaborating cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Marketing, and partners to maximize customer outcomes; leveraging market insights to inform Snowflake positioning and go-to-market strategy; and developing next-generation leaders.
Required qualifications: 8+ years of B2B SaaS or enterprise software sales experience; 3+ years of sales management with proven track record of team goal achievement, development, and performance management; demonstrated success leading large enterprise deals through account planning, deal strategy, and close; ability to conduct value-based selling and articulate customer ROI; strong forecasting and pipeline management discipline; excellent executive communication and presentation skills; proven leadership in cross-functional collaboration; fluent Japanese with comfort conducting business in English; experience with complex enterprise customers; strong interest in data, cloud, and AI; and demonstrated strength in strategic deal formation involving customers, internal teams, and partners.
