Gong is seeking a vision-driven, data-led Senior Director of Web Strategy & Experience to own the strategy, design, and performance of gong.io, the company's flagship corporate website. This role sits at the intersection of brand narrative, product marketing, conversion rate optimization, and web engineering, with the goal of delivering a world-class digital storefront that reflects brand leadership, drives qualified pipeline, and provides exceptional user experience.
Key responsibilities include defining and executing the gong.io roadmap in alignment with corporate messaging and GTM strategy; orchestrating content, brand design, web engineering, and SEO to ship high-impact updates with velocity; driving CRO programs, A/B testing, personalization, and analytics to optimize funnel conversion and pipeline generation; maintaining world-class design fidelity, responsiveness, accessibility, and micro-interactions across devices; partnering with web development and IT on CMS architecture, page load speed, SEO technical health, and security; and building, developing, and retaining a high-performing pod of designers, developers, and content producers.
The ideal candidate brings 12+ years leading high-growth enterprise B2B website strategy, digital marketing, or web product management, with 5-8+ years directly managing designers, developers, or content teams. Required expertise includes modern WebOps stacks (CMS architectures, personalization tools, analytics), deep understanding of high-converting B2B SaaS web journeys and CRO, demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional pods, and experience building or scaling web/digital teams from the ground up. This is a people-management role with significant scope over strategy, execution, and team development.
