Nourish is a Series C-funded AI-native digital health platform that matches patients with registered dietitians, physicians, medications, lab testing, and AI agents to deliver insurance-covered metabolic health care across all 50 states. Founded four years ago, the company has completed millions of appointments, achieved 3x year-over-year growth, and partnered with health plans covering 200M+ Americans across 250+ health systems. In 2026, Nourish raised $100M in Series C funding (total $215M), led by Menlo Ventures with participation from Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners, Maverick Ventures, Y Combinator, BoxGroup, Atomico, Daybreak, and Operator Partners.
The Growth Strategy team is responsible for scaling Nourish's fastest-growing and most critical patient acquisition channel. As a Director on this team, you will own a critical part of the channel's strategy and operating system—from setting targets and designing roadmaps to hit them, to owning the systems and processes that make growth scalable, measurable, and durable. You will be a core member of the Growth Strategy leadership team, partnering closely with the Executive team, Sales Leadership, Enablement, Analytics, Product, and Engineering to solve the most important barriers to channel growth.
This role combines first-principles strategy with hands-on execution. You will not inherit a mature playbook; instead, you will help design how Nourish's most important growth engines operate as the company scales. The company is hiring for multiple roles and is open to a range of backgrounds, with scope and level shaped based on each candidate's experience and strengths.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set goals and define success by establishing clear metrics and ambitious targets, building a strong understanding of performance drivers, and ensuring progress is consistently measured.
- Define the roadmap by diagnosing the biggest opportunities and constraints, developing a clear point of view on how to address them, and deciding where the organization should invest and what it should deprioritize.
- Turn strategy into an executable plan by translating the roadmap into focused initiatives with clear priorities, owners, success metrics, and resource requirements.
- Build the operating system required to scale by designing processes, tools, and decision-making cadences that help cross-functional teams identify performance gaps, turn insights into action, and remain accountable for results.
- Help build the Growth Strategy team, which may include building, developing, and managing a high-performing team depending on the specific role.
The role is full-time, based in NYC (Gramercy office), with an expectation to work in person 3+ days per week and some remote flexibility.
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience with a mix of strategy work (e.g., management consulting, finance, business operations) and direct start-up experience. Experience and excitement about building and leading a team is a plus.
- First-principles thinker who can take an ambiguous problem, identify the outcome that matters, break it into underlying drivers, and design a practical path forward.
- Highly analytical and comfortable using imperfect data to identify performance gaps, make tradeoffs, and measure whether a strategy is working.
- Exceptional operator who can move fluidly between setting direction and getting into the details required to make something work.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment where you must simultaneously set direction, manage multiple workstreams, and ensure important details do not get lost.
- Exceptional cross-functional leader who can create clarity, establish accountability, and drive decisions across teams you do not directly manage.
