ARX Robotics is seeking a Head of Government Relations for Europe to lead the company's engagement with European and national governments, defence institutions, and key stakeholders. This is a strategic leadership role combining government affairs, policy engagement, and stakeholder management in the autonomous defence technology sector. In this role, you will develop and execute ARX Robotics' European government relations strategy aligned with company growth objectives. You will build and maintain trusted relationships with senior decision-makers across European governments, ministries, defence authorities, EU institutions, and public-sector organisations. You will represent the company's interests in policy, regulatory, funding, and procurement discussions across Europe, while monitoring and analysing developments in defence policy, security, autonomous systems, AI, and defence funding. Key responsibilities include translating political and regulatory developments into strategic recommendations for leadership; identifying opportunities to shape policy discussions around autonomous defence technologies; coordinating the company's participation in government, industry, and defence forums; and working closely with Sales, Business Development, Strategy, Legal, Product, and Leadership teams to align government relations with commercial priorities. You will also support strategic discussions around European defence procurement, capability development, and technology adoption, and prepare senior-level briefings and policy positions. ARX Robotics is a dual-use technology company specializing in autonomous unmanned systems and sensors for the European defence sector, supporting NATO armies and civilian first responders. The company is at a pivotal growth stage and operates in a dynamic, collaborative environment focused on developing innovative solutions for challenging security environments. REQUIREMENTS: - Significant experience in government relations, public affairs, policy, diplomacy, or closely related field - Strong understanding of European defence and security policy, institutions, and decision-making processes - Established network across European governments, defence ministries, EU institutions, or relevant industry stakeholders - Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior political, governmental, military, and industry decision-makers - Strong understanding of defence procurement, defence policy, security technology, or the European defence industry - Ability to monitor complex policy developments and translate them into clear strategic and commercial implications - Excellent communication, negotiation, advocacy, and stakeholder-management skills - Strong political judgement, discretion, and ability to operate effectively in sensitive environments - Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams in a fast-growing technology company - Fluent English (written and spoken); German and/or another major European language is a strong advantage - Willingness to travel regularly across Europe Note: Candidates do not need to meet every requirement to apply; the company welcomes motivated candidates eager to grow into the role.
