CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior Consultant to conduct Cloud Red Team Blue Team (CRTBT) engagements, performing cloud-focused adversary emulation against customer environments. You will work closely with customers to understand their existing cloud security controls and detection capabilities, then emulate realistic threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to challenge and validate their defenses. The role spans the full engagement lifecycle from kickoff through report delivery, with responsibility for identifying long-term enhancements to the CRTBT offering.
Key responsibilities include conducting red team exercises across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Microsoft Entra ID/M365 environments; performing hands-on adversary emulation and penetration testing; developing scripts and automation to support red team operations; building and maintaining strategic relationships with client stakeholders; and delivering customer-facing project management with strong attention to service quality.
You will need 5+ years of cybersecurity industry experience, with 2–3 years in red team consulting or MSSP roles and 1–2 years conducting Red Team Blue Team or Purple Team exercises. Strong background in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is essential. Experience with scripting, automation, and custom tooling development is required. You should demonstrate excellent client management skills, exceptional communication abilities, strong business acumen, and proven technical and creative problem-solving capabilities. Experience leveraging AI technologies to enhance decision-making and streamline workflows is valued. The role requires the ability to excel in a fast-paced professional services environment while balancing competing priorities and maintaining attention to detail.
