Amplitude, a leading AI analytics platform serving 4,700+ customers including Atlassian, Burger King, and NBCUniversal, is seeking a Senior Billing and Collections Analyst to own critical components of the order-to-cash process. This hands-on role focuses on ensuring accurate customer billing, timely invoice delivery, and rapid resolution of billing issues across Amplitude's revenue streams.
Key responsibilities include managing the end-to-end billing cycle (invoice generation, review, delivery, and issue resolution), ensuring invoices align with contractual terms, and proactively identifying discrepancies before they impact customers or accounting processes. You'll serve as a primary contact for customer billing and contract inquiries, partnering with GTM and Finance teams to drive timely resolution and strong customer experience. The role also involves supporting collections activities to ensure timely payments, investigating payment delays, and identifying opportunities to automate and scale order-to-cash workflows while maintaining SOX controls and supporting external audits.
Ideal candidates bring 3–5+ years of billing, accounts receivable, collections, or related accounting/finance experience, preferably in SaaS or subscription businesses. Strong Excel proficiency, SOX environment experience, and proven ability to manage high transaction volumes with accuracy are essential. You should be detail-oriented, a clear communicator comfortable working cross-functionally, naturally curious about process improvement, and capable of operating within established controls while driving efficiency gains.
