Salary: USD 135,000 - 275,000 / annual
HeartFlow is a publicly traded medical technology company (HTFL) pioneering AI-driven solutions for coronary artery disease diagnosis and management. The company's flagship product, HeartFlow FFR_CT Analysis, is a non-invasive cardiac diagnostic tool that provides 3D visualization of coronary arteries and blood flow assessment. Cleared for use across the US, UK, Europe, Japan, and Canada, it has been deployed for over 500,000 patients worldwide.
This Specialty Sales Manager role combines business development and account management across the Southwest region (Dallas, TX and Phoenix, AZ). The position is field-based with 60-80% travel to customer sites, events, and regional meetings.
Key responsibilities include prospecting and closing new accounts in Primary Care, Holistic, Concierge, and Preventative Cardiology specialties; building and managing a robust sales pipeline through the full sales cycle; developing regional sales strategies to expand HeartFlow's footprint; driving adoption and utilization of FFR_CT and cCTA pathways within key accounts; building long-term customer relationships; and providing proactive support and clinical education.
The role requires collaboration with internal teams including Marketing, Market Access, CT Applications Specialists, Implementation Managers, Clinical, and Product Development. Responsibilities include organizing educational programs such as dinner events, CT pathway workshops, VIP visits, and referring physician meetings. The manager will collect and share customer insights to inform product development and market strategy.
Performance expectations include meeting or exceeding territory sales and adoption targets, delivering measurable growth in cCTA usage and FFR_CT penetration, and maintaining accurate Salesforce reporting and forecasting.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree (Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical field preferred); 5-8 years of healthcare sales experience, ideally in medical devices or cardiovascular sector; proven track record of sales success in healthcare, cardiology, cardiovascular diagnostics, or radiology; strong experience introducing and scaling adoption of new technologies; ability to develop and support clinical programs and pathways; exceptional communication skills for explaining complex technologies to clinicians and decision-makers; strong relationship-building abilities with clinical, administrative, and executive stakeholders; self-starter mentality with strong organizational skills; problem-solving ability and resilience; and proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce or equivalent).
