As an Accounting Support Specialist, you will be a core member of the technical and accounting support team, serving as the central liaison between client business leaders, in-house accountants, and accounting firms. You will investigate client issues, provide solutions, and escalate to technical teams when needed. You'll also help accountants migrate and integrate their data into Pennylane.
In your first three months, you'll complete the Pennylane Academy, learn the product deeply, understand company vision and departments, and begin handling accounting-related support requests with guidance. You'll learn to qualify requests using strong accounting principles and deliver fast, impactful solutions.
From months 4-6, you'll gain autonomy, manage increasingly complex client requests independently, contribute to help documentation, share accounting expertise with colleagues, and relay customer insights to the product team.
Longer term, you'll become a product expert, drive team efficiency improvements, lead projects aligned with your growth, and have opportunities to move into account management, implementation leadership, or specialized support roles.
The role requires accounting training (BTS CGO, DCG, BTS assistant de gestion PME-PMI, Master CCA, or equivalent), at least 3 years in an accounting firm (ideally covering multiple fiscal periods), and direct experience working with business leaders. You should be comfortable with innovative tools and new technologies, self-directed in problem-solving, and ideally familiar with Pennylane. Fully remote from anywhere in the EU.
