Tide is a fintech platform serving over 2 million SMEs globally with business banking, invoicing, and accounting solutions. The Treasury team operates as the first line of defense for financial excellence, optimizing resources, managing risks, and ensuring robust liquidity and cash management.
As Treasury Operations Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining Tide's financial health and driving efficient treasury operations. Key responsibilities include:
Cash & Liquidity Management: Monitor and manage wholesale credit limits to ensure adequate liquidity while minimizing counterparty risk. Conduct short-term cash flow forecasting and variance analysis across group accounts. Collaborate on implementing a Treasury Management System, including requirements documentation, design, and testing. Evaluate capital requirements, manage foreign exchange exposure, and optimize returns on short-term investments.
Bank Relationship Management: Partner with internal and external stakeholders on Know Your Customer (KYC) and account management processes. Ensure all banking relationships comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Payments & Collateral Management: Execute payment and transfer activities with accuracy and timeliness. Manage collateral requirements and monitor collateral positions to ensure compliance with relevant policies.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to treasury operations. Update procedural documentation in line with changing regulations and business needs.
The ideal candidate brings minimum 6 years of treasury operations and cash management experience, preferably in payments, technology-driven, or scale-up environments. You should have strong knowledge of cash-flow forecasting, payment systems, and cash management platforms. Experience with operational risk mitigation, BI reporting tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau), and working in dynamic, fast-paced environments is essential. You are a self-starter with strong attention to detail, excellent stakeholder management skills, and comfort working with ambiguity.
