Pennylane is a high-growth French fintech (€400M raised, backed by Sequoia) building financial management and accounting software for European SMEs and accounting firms. With 1,000+ employees across 25 countries and 900K+ users, the company is expanding rapidly across Europe.
As an Accounting Support Specialist, you will be a core member of the technical and accounting support team, serving as the central point of contact between business leaders, their in-house accountants, and accounting firms. You will investigate client issues, provide solutions, and escalate to technical teams when needed. You'll also help accountants migrate data onto Pennylane and contribute to knowledge base documentation.
In your first three months, you'll complete the Pennylane Academy, learn the product deeply, understand company vision and departments, and begin handling accounting-related support requests with guidance. By months 4-6, you'll gain autonomy managing tickets end-to-end, handle increasingly complex client requests, contribute to help documentation, share accounting expertise with colleagues, and relay customer feedback to the product team.
Long-term, you'll become a product expert, identify team efficiency improvements, and lead projects. Career progression opportunities exist toward senior support roles, account management, or customer implementation leadership.
Required: accounting qualification (BTS CGO, DCG, BTS assistant de gestion PME-PMI, Master CCA, or Bachelor in accounting/admin). Minimum 3 years in an accounting firm (ideally covering 3+ fiscal periods). Direct experience advising business leaders is a plus. You're autonomous, problem-solving-oriented, and eager to work with innovative tools. Pennylane product knowledge is a bonus.
