Pennylane is a high-growth French fintech (€400M raised, backed by Sequoia) building financial management and accounting software for European SMEs and accounting firms. With 1,000+ employees across 25 countries and 900K+ users, the company is expanding rapidly across Europe.
As an Accounting Support Specialist, you will be a core member of the technical and accounting support team, serving as the central point of contact between business leaders, in-house accountants, and accounting firms using Pennylane. You will investigate client issues, provide solutions, and escalate to technical teams when needed. You'll also support data migration and integration for accountants transitioning to Pennylane.
In your first three months, you'll complete the Pennylane Academy, learn the product deeply, understand company vision and departments, and begin handling accounting-related support requests with guidance. By months 4-6, you'll work autonomously on increasingly complex client issues, contribute to help documentation, share accounting expertise with colleagues, and relay customer feedback to product teams.
Long-term, you'll become a product expert, drive team efficiency improvements, and have opportunities to evolve into account management, implementation leadership, or specialized support roles.
Required: accounting qualification (BTS CGO, DCG, BTS assistant de gestion PME-PMI, Master CCA, or equivalent Bachelor); minimum 3 years in an accounting firm (ideally covering three fiscal periods); strong problem-solving and autonomy; interest in innovative tools and technology. Preferred: direct experience advising business leaders; familiarity with Pennylane platform.
