Zscaler is seeking a Specialist Solutions Architect for Operational Technology (OT) to join its field specialist team. This is a high-impact individual contributor role within Zscaler's specialty go-to-market organization, responsible for driving customer-facing technical engagements across OT and industrial security environments globally.
You will own the full engagement lifecycle: generating demand from a defined target account base, leading consultative first meetings and in-depth architecture workshops, contributing to Proof of Value design, and feeding structured field evidence back to product and sales teams. The role spans Zscaler's OT-relevant technology portfolio—Zero Trust Branch, deception, Privileged Remote Access, and Zscaler Cellular—combining business development with high-level architecture design.
Key responsibilities include:
- Generate and develop OT demand by working from scored target account lists, customer advisory boards, and industry events, converting first meetings into architecture workshops
- Own solution architecture across the OT portfolio, designing target-state solutions that align to ISA/IEC 62443 and the Purdue Model, integrating ZIA, ZPA, and ZDX where relevant
- Deliver the consultative motion end-to-end within an instrumented engagement process, leading from first meeting through architecture workshop, aligning security and network stakeholders
- Contribute to Proof of Value design and business value assessment, partnering to construct cost consolidation maps detailing tool consolidation, time savings, and cost reductions
- Extend the motion beyond your own engagements by using AI and automation as force multipliers, building OT thought leadership through blogs and industry events, and delivering field enablement sessions
