You will join an emerging specialist sales team reporting to a Product Specialist - Sales Director, focused on driving growth in Samsara's Connected Maintenance product within the public sector (SLED) segment. This is a high-impact, strategic role combining new product launch expertise with complex enterprise sales execution.
Key responsibilities include: co-developing the emerging Connected Maintenance pipeline with account executives across major public sector accounts; driving pilot strategy and defining success metrics for early adoption; owning executive-level discovery and storytelling for new SKUs; partnering cross-functionally with GTM and Product teams to feed back customer insights and shape the roadmap; developing executive relationships within strategic named accounts; driving full-cycle maintenance sales from prospecting through close; demonstrating solution-based selling in complex campaigns; and building scalable frameworks and assets for the broader sales organization.
You will work with line-of-business stakeholders in government entities, manage strategic outbound prospecting, and operate in partnership with senior account executives. The role requires comfort presenting to and influencing C-suite executives, entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to lead through influence.
Minimum qualifications: 5+ years in complex, full-cycle enterprise solution sales with a proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement in deals valued at $500k+ ARR; experience working with SLED/Government entities; willingness to engage in strategic outbound prospecting; excellent interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments; clear communication and strong customer instincts; demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset.
Ideal candidates bring overlay or new product launch experience, proven ability to influence GTM strategy alongside Product and Marketing, comfort operating in strategic partnership with senior teams, and a track record of C-suite engagement.
