ICON is building a Recruiting Delivery Center of Excellence focused on finding and engaging top talent with the speed and rigor of elite search firms. As a Sourcing Recruiter, you will own the top of the funnel—mapping talent markets, solving hard-to-fill searches, and engaging passive candidates with compelling outreach. You'll use advanced sourcing techniques including Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, and emerging AI tooling to build proactive pipelines of high-caliber talent.
Key responsibilities include identifying and engaging passive candidates across multiple channels for searches owned by senior TA Partners. You will conduct initial qualification screens to assess candidate viability and interest, then hand off qualified pipelines with market context to ensure smooth handoffs. You'll develop and iterate sourcing models for specialized or difficult roles, recommending new techniques to improve pipeline quality.
You will leverage AI tooling to draft and personalize outreach at scale, surface non-obvious talent pools and channels, and compile market intelligence on talent availability, competitive dynamics, and hiring signals. You'll maintain disciplined data hygiene through candidate dispositioning, clear documentation of sourcing plans with deliverables and timelines, and adherence to process playbooks.
Minimum qualifications: 2+ years of sourcing or recruiting experience (in-house or agency), demonstrated proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean sourcing, track record of engaging passive candidates and running qualification conversations, ATS proficiency, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Preferred: 4+ years of sourcing experience with independent work on specialized roles, experience sourcing technical or hard-to-fill positions (engineering, software, robotics, skilled trades, construction/AEC), hands-on use of AI sourcing tools at volume, and experience in high-volume or search-firm environments.
