Salary: USD 255,000 - 320,000 / annual

Anthropic is seeking a Solutions Marketing Manager for Cybersecurity to lead strategic marketing efforts positioning Claude as a trusted AI partner for security leaders, CISOs, SOC teams, and threat intelligence analysts. This is a hands-on, strategic role at the intersection of AI safety and cybersecurity defense. You will work closely with sales, product, partnerships, and communications teams to execute comprehensive marketing strategies across key security segments including enterprise security operations, threat intelligence, detection and response, governance/risk/compliance, and MSSPs. Key responsibilities include: - Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategy for cybersecurity across multiple segments and buyer personas - Craft differentiated positioning and messaging for solutions pages, campaigns, and content tailored to distinct security audiences - Support go-to-market execution for product and solution launches, including sector-specific offerings and relevant integrations (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, threat intelligence platforms) - Partner with alliances team on joint go-to-market initiatives with cybersecurity partners, coordinating positioning and integrated campaigns - Collaborate with communications on executive thought leadership regarding AI's role in strengthening cyber defense - Develop cybersecurity content calendar highlighting use cases, case studies, and partnership announcements - Drive thought leadership initiatives and identify speaking/event opportunities within the security community - Enable sales teams with compelling materials, outbound campaigns, and pipeline-driving initiatives for security-focused enterprise accounts - Measure campaign performance, identify optimization opportunities, and report on results across channels This role requires someone who can set vision and strategy while executing hands-on, thriving in a 0-to-1 environment and navigating complex stakeholder landscapes. You'll help shape industry conversations around AI's role in cyber defense while driving measurable pipeline and impact results. Role-specific policy: Staff are expected to work from the Washington, D.C. or San Francisco office at least once per month for cross-functional stakeholder engagement. The company encourages applications even if interim relocation flexibility is needed. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum: - Direct experience marketing software products to security audiences, including familiarity with how CISOs, SOC leaders, and security engineering teams evaluate and purchase technology - Ability to thrive in 0-to-1 environments, building processes where none exist and navigating ambiguity across complex stakeholder landscapes - Adaptable generalist with exposure and competency across multiple marketing functions (content, campaigns, social, analytics, sales enablement) - Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate complex AI capabilities into clear, compelling narratives for both technical practitioners and non-technical audiences - Quick learner who can rapidly absorb context on security workflows, buyer dynamics, and compliance frameworks - Excel at cross-functional collaboration, serving as connective tissue between product, sales, partnerships, communications, and marketing teams - Passion for AI's potential to strengthen cyber defense while maintaining focus on responsible, safe deployment - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience Preferred: - 8+ years of marketing experience with at least 2 years in cybersecurity, security operations, or broader security technology space - Experience working in or with security organizations, understanding distinct priorities and decision-making dynamics of security buyers - Experience with event marketing at security conferences (RSA Conference, Black Hat, Gartner Security & Risk, ISAC events) - Background in enterprise sales enablement, particularly in complex or regulated industries - Track record of building marketing programs from scratch at growth-stage companies - Interest in responsible deployment of AI in security contexts, including awareness of dual-use considerations unique to cybersecurity
