Anthropic is seeking a Solutions Marketing Lead for Public Sector to architect and execute marketing strategy for government, federal, state, local, and international public sector audiences. This is a strategic and hands-on role positioned at the intersection of AI ethics, responsible deployment, and growth marketing. You will own the end-to-end marketing function for the public sector vertical, serving as the dedicated interface between Anthropic's Public Sector teams and broader marketing organization. Key responsibilities include developing comprehensive marketing strategy across federal agencies, state/local government, defense, regulatory bodies, and public utilities; crafting differentiated positioning and messaging for distinct government audiences; leading go-to-market execution for product launches including Claude for Government and sector-specific integrations; partnering with communications on executive thought leadership around AI's societal benefits; managing public sector content calendars highlighting use cases and partnerships; driving thought leadership and speaking opportunities; enabling sales teams with compelling materials and pipeline-driving campaigns; and reporting on channel and campaign performance. You'll work cross-functionally with sales, product, partnerships, and communications teams to position Claude as the trusted AI partner for policymakers and public sector knowledge workers. The role demands both strategic vision-setting and hands-on execution capability, thriving in a 0-to-1 environment while navigating complex stakeholder landscapes. Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of marketing experience with meaningful exposure to public sector, government technology, or GovTech; direct experience marketing to government audiences with familiarity of federal, state/local, or international procurement processes; understanding of distinct government buyer priorities and decision-making dynamics; experience at public sector conferences; enterprise sales enablement background in complex/regulated industries; and a track record of building scalable marketing programs. You should be an adaptable generalist with competency across content, campaigns, social, analytics, and sales enablement; possess strong written and verbal communication skills to translate complex AI capabilities for non-technical audiences; excel at cross-functional collaboration; and be passionate about responsible, equitable AI deployment benefiting underserved communities.
