Vanta is seeking a Solutions Engineer for the EMEA region to serve as a trusted technical voice in pre-sales, guiding customers toward clarity and alignment on end-to-end GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) solutions. This role is ideal for GRC professionals, programme managers, auditors, and compliance practitioners transitioning into a strategic, customer-facing position.
Key responsibilities include partnering with Account Executives on strategic discovery to uncover technical, operational, and business pain points; validating technical feasibility and solution fit; delivering tailored demonstrations showcasing how Vanta automates GRC programmes across frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA; and ensuring seamless handoffs to post-sales teams with comprehensive solution documentation.
You'll act as a bridge between customers and the product team, providing structured market feedback to drive product prioritization and sales opportunities. The role requires deep technical proficiency, exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, and a customer-centric approach focused on measurable buyer impact.
Required qualifications include 5+ years of customer-facing technical experience (solutions engineer, sales engineer, GRC consultant, or equivalent) with B2B SaaS background; hands-on experience with AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux); general knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Bash, JavaScript); familiarity with REST API development and service integrations; and ideally prior cybersecurity, GRC, or audit experience.
The role is based in London or Dublin with a hybrid schedule requiring in-office presence Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
