Vanta is seeking a Solutions Engineer for the EMEA region to serve as a trusted technical voice in pre-sales, guiding customers toward clarity and alignment on end-to-end GRC (governance, risk, and compliance) solutions. This role is ideal for GRC professionals, programme managers, auditors, and compliance practitioners transitioning into a strategic, customer-facing position.
Key responsibilities include partnering with Account Executives on strategic discovery to uncover technical, operational, and business pain points; validating technical feasibility and solution fit; delivering tailored demonstrations showcasing how Vanta automates GRC programmes across frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA; and ensuring seamless handoffs to post-sales teams with comprehensive solution documentation.
You'll act as a bridge between customers and the product team, providing structured market feedback to drive product prioritization and sales opportunities. The role requires deep technical proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure), operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and cloud application architecture. Experience with scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Bash, JavaScript), REST APIs, and service integrations is expected or desired.
Success requires 5+ years of customer-facing technical experience as a solutions engineer, sales engineer, GRC consultant, or equivalent B2B SaaS role. You must be an exceptional communicator with strong storytelling and active listening abilities, customer-centric with empathy and curiosity, and collaborative in deal shaping. Prior experience in cybersecurity, GRC, or audit is ideal. The role is based in Dublin with a hybrid schedule requiring in-office presence Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
