LangChain is hiring a Solutions Engineer for their Dallas office to join the Deployed Engineering team, the technical front line of their go-to-market motion. You'll partner with account executives from initial technical conversations through production rollout, helping enterprise customers evaluate LangChain, prove it on their hardest use cases, and deploy AI agents reliably at scale. In this hands-on role, you own the technical win: scoping evaluations, designing POCs that mirror real workloads, answering deep architecture questions that decide deals, and staying with customers post-signature to ensure successful deployment. You'll work on production AI systems—not demos or research—with fast feedback loops and measurable impact in closed deals and live deployments. Key responsibilities include partnering with AEs on technical discovery and evaluation scoping; serving as the technical authority during architecture reviews, security assessments, and competitive evaluations; co-architecting and co-building production AI agents with customer engineering teams from prototype through rollout; helping customers deploy and operate agent-based applications (conversational agents, research agents, multi-step workflows); running demos, trainings, and workshops for developer audiences; advising customers post-sale on architecture and best practices; surfacing field feedback to product teams; and contributing code upstream when it improves customer outcomes. You'll bring 6+ years in a relevant technical role (solutions engineering, sales engineering, customer engineering, software engineering, or founding/product engineering), ideally at a startup or scale-up. You're comfortable owning the technical thread in sales cycles, explaining technical tradeoffs clearly to developer audiences, taking responsibility for outcomes, and have a bias toward action. A genuine interest in operating AI agents in production is essential. Nice-to-haves include production AI agent deployment experience (especially with LangChain/LangGraph), carrying a technical number or working against pipeline with sales teams, experience with LLM evaluation/observability/guardrails, and familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure), containers, and Kubernetes. Compensation: $200,000–$250,000 USD annual OTE, plus base salary, variable compensation, meaningful equity, and benefits including medical/dental/vision, flexible vacation, and 401(k).
