Sanity.io is hiring a Staff-level Solutions Engineer for PreSales to own the full technical journey of enterprise deals—from strategic engagement through architecture scoping, proof of concept, and onboarding. You'll be the technical expert in high-stakes rooms, working directly with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Engagement teams.
In this role, you'll architect and lead complex demos for enterprise prospects and strategic partners, own the technical narrative from C-suite boardrooms to deep engineering sessions, and educate customers on Sanity's AI-powered Content Operating System at an advanced level. You'll guide customers through RFPs, architecture reviews, and POCs with confidence, and represent strategic customer requirements directly to product and engineering to influence the roadmap.
Beyond individual deals, you'll build tools, frameworks, and enablement materials that the wider SE team relies on. You'll mentor other Solutions Engineers, identify process improvements, and help define excellence across the organization. This is a high-visibility role at a company that just raised $85M Series C and is scaling rapidly.
You bring previous enterprise solution selling experience with Fortune 500 accounts and C-level stakeholders. You have strong coding skills (JavaScript, React, APIs, JSON, Git) and can design and demonstrate working technical solutions. Your communication skills allow you to make complex architecture obvious to executives and business problems urgent to engineers. You have proven discovery and room-leading abilities, familiarity with CMS and content operations, and genuine curiosity about AI's role in the space. You're solution-oriented, creative, structured, autonomous, and comfortable leading without a finished playbook.
