Key responsibilities include: leading technical discovery and qualifying requirements to drive deals to close; understanding prospects' onboarding workflows, risk, and compliance requirements, then mapping needs to Middesk's APIs and data products; delivering tailored demos—from hands-on API walkthroughs for engineers to business-impact narratives for compliance officers and executives; scoping and leading technical evaluations and proofs of concept; designing scalable integration architectures for high-volume or regulated environments; owning RFP responses and security questionnaires; ensuring clean handoffs to post-sales teams with documented solution designs; and synthesizing prospect feedback and competitive intelligence to influence product direction and GTM strategy.
You'll report to the Director of Solutions Engineering in a highly visible, customer-facing role within a high-growth, execution-driven environment. Success requires comfort whiteboarding API architecture with engineering teams while building business cases with Chief Compliance Officers.

Nice to have: familiarity with identity verification, fraud, compliance, or onboarding workflows in regulated industries; early-stage startup experience building demo environments and sales enablement assets.
