As a Solutions Engineer, you'll be a technical and strategic partner bridging sales, engineering, and prospective clients. You'll lead technical discovery discussions to understand customer pain points and requirements, then design and propose scalable solutions that address their challenges. Your responsibilities include collaborating with Legal Engineers to create custom demos and proof-of-concepts, facilitating technical workshops and proof-of-value sessions, and responding to technical questions, security concerns, and RFI/RFP responses.
You'll act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle, translating complex requirements into clear architecture diagrams, implementation roadmaps, and proposal documentation. You'll work closely with Product and Engineering to validate feasibility and influence roadmap priorities, while partnering with Go-to-Market teams on deal strategy. You'll also support the creation of technical sales content (demos, battlecards, case studies) and ensure smooth transitions from pre-sale to implementation by coordinating with Technical Delivery and Customer Success teams.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience), with 5+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical roles in B2B environments. You should be experienced in technical delivery discussions, presenting to both technical and business decision-makers, and explaining complex topics clearly.
