Salary: USD 150,000 - 300,000 / annual
Traversal is an AI Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) platform trusted by enterprise customers to troubleshoot, remediate, and prevent complex production incidents. The company is building an AI agent lab for the enterprise with a team including researchers from MIT, Harvard, and Berkeley, plus engineers from Citadel Securities, Cockroach Labs, Datadog, ServiceNow, Glean, Perplexity, and Pinecone.
As a Solutions Engineer, you'll be a foundational customer-facing role at the intersection of technical depth and relationship building. You'll help define how Traversal engages with prospective customers, guiding them from initial technical discovery through successful deployment. You'll collaborate with product and engineering to translate customer needs into compelling, customized pilot deployments that achieve high value.
Key responsibilities include driving technical discovery and demo conversations with engineering teams evaluating Traversal, translating complex infrastructure problems into tailored pilot evaluations, building and maintaining demo environments and technical guides, partnering with product and engineering to scope integrations and influence roadmap direction, supporting customer onboarding and implementation, and staying current on observability trends and AI infrastructure.
You'll work closely with the CEO, CTO, GTM, and Product teams to help scale founder-led sales into a repeatable process. You'll act as the technical voice in prospect conversations, create resources to support go-to-market efforts, and relay customer insights back to shape roadmap priorities. This is a high-ownership, high-velocity role ideal for someone excited about helping define how AI-native infrastructure products are introduced and adopted in the enterprise.
