Trustpilot is a profitable, high-growth FTSE-250 company operating the world's largest open customer review platform. As a Solutions Engineer, you will bridge technical expertise and sales, delivering product consultancy to new business, partners, and customer success teams.
Your primary responsibilities include managing free trials to increase win rates and deal sizes, maintaining strong product knowledge across sales and customer success departments, and supporting pre- and post-sales activities tracked in Salesforce.
Key duties:
- Set up and manage new product trials for prospects
- Participate in and coordinate pre-sales activities with sales representatives
- Collaborate with Support, Customer Success, Sales Operations, and New Business teams
- Maintain trial reporting and analytics
- Provide technical solutions for customer success upsells and renewals
- Troubleshoot enterprise-level technical issues and deliver training on trial features
- Lead sales clinics to help reps overcome technical blockers with hard-to-convert leads
- Ensure proper automation methods are explored before escalation
- Execute presales frameworks for high-value deals, clarifying technology, timelines, and integration requirements
You bring experience in a similar technical sales or solutions engineering role, ideally from a SaaS or e-commerce company. You have solid understanding of e-commerce, social media, and SEO; proficiency with Salesforce; working knowledge of HTML and JavaScript; and experience with REST APIs or similar technologies. Technical support and troubleshooting experience is essential. You're self-motivated, goal-oriented, and thrive in collaborative sales environments. Knowledge of scripting or software development is a plus.
