Salary: USD 70,000 - 90,000 / annual
Grace Hill is seeking a Solutions Engineer (Pre-Sales) to support the Multifamily channel. This is a customer-facing, pre-sales technical role reporting to the Sr. Manager of Sales Engineering.
You will be the technical expert on Grace Hill's integration capabilities—APIs, SFTP, SSO, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Property Management Software (PMS) integrations (Yardi, Entrata, RealPage), and marketing integrations (websites, ILS platforms). Your primary focus is translating technical integration requirements into business value for prospects and sales teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide technical insight on integration features to sales, product, and marketing teams
- Define integration scope during discovery, mapping prospect user journeys and assessing feasibility
- Collaborate with sales to understand customer integration requirements and provide pre-sales support
- Educate internal sales teams on PMS and marketing integrations
- Develop ROI statements tied to integration efficiency and risk reduction
- Assist with technical sections of proposals and sales enablement materials
- Support customer demos by explaining integration features and business impact
- Train sales staff on technical aspects of Grace Hill's integrations
- Establish rapport with prospects and technical stakeholders (IT, systems administrators)
- Document integration requirements in Salesforce for sales prioritization
- Contribute to achieving team sales goals and variable compensation targets
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information systems, or related field (or equivalent)
- 1–5 years of sales engineering, solutions consulting, or technical pre-sales experience
- Working knowledge of REST APIs, SFTP, and SSO/SAML authentication
- Experience supporting or explaining PMS integrations (Yardi, Entrata, RealPage, or similar)
- B2B and/or SaaS sales experience
- Superior communication and consultative sales skills
- Ability to build rapport with business and technical stakeholders
- Analytical skills to communicate ROI on technology investments
- Organized, detail-oriented, and results-focused
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with video conferencing/collaboration platform integrations (Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
- Commercial Real Estate or multifamily industry experience
- Proven track record as an exceptional Sales Engineer or technical pre-sales professional
- Ability to travel if required
Compensation: $70,000–$90,000 base + commission (OTE $112,000–$136,000). Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), PTO, life insurance, and disability insurance. US-based, work-authorized candidates only; no visa sponsorship.
