Postscript is an AI-powered SMS and email marketing platform serving 20,000+ Shopify brands. As a Solutions Engineer, you'll be the technical bridge between sales, customer success, product, and customers—helping brands implement conversational commerce strategies.
You'll collaborate with account executives to demo advanced platform capabilities, lead technical discovery calls with prospects, and manage proof-of-concept implementations for complex use cases. You'll become an expert on the Postscript platform, including its integrations and APIs, and help customers extend their strategies into email alongside SMS. A key part of the role is serving as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, instilling confidence by demonstrating deep product knowledge and understanding of customer business needs.
You'll also act as the link between GTM and Product, documenting and prioritizing customer requests. The role includes creating technical content, supporting onboarding and customer success teams, troubleshooting integrations, and collaborating with partners building technical integrations. You'll use AI tools to accelerate discovery, demo prep, and content creation, and help customers understand how Postscript's AI features drive results.
Required: 3+ years in a revenue-driving, customer-facing technical role (solutions engineer, sales engineer, support engineer, or similar). Ecommerce knowledge and Shopify ecosystem experience are essential. You should be comfortable with front-end web technologies (JavaScript, CSS) and able to create proof-of-concept integrations using APIs. You exemplify a customer-first attitude, are detail-oriented, and naturally curious. Critically, you must be genuinely energized by AI—already using AI tools in your workflow, able to speak credibly about AI capabilities to prospects, and excited to experiment with what's possible.
Email marketing platform experience (deliverability, segmentation, cross-channel orchestration) is a plus. You're a strong cross-functional collaborator who can navigate relationships with Product and Engineering independently.
