Salary: CAD 125,000 - 185,000 / annual
Peregrine Technologies, backed by leading Silicon Valley investors, is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their team. The company builds an AI-enabled platform that transforms siloed data into operational intelligence for public safety organizations, government agencies, and private-sector institutions. The platform currently serves hundreds of customers across 30+ states and two countries, reaching over 125 million people.
In this role, you will evangelize Peregrine's product and mission to potential customers, crafting tailored narratives that highlight how the platform addresses their specific needs. You'll be intimately connected to both new business development and deployment efforts, channeling real-world use cases and success stories into strategic positioning and compelling product demonstrations.
Key responsibilities include: building product demonstrations and data workflows from scratch; telling the company's story through customer use cases and strategic market intelligence; developing content and training systems for your team; building relationships with stakeholders across executive, operational, and technical levels; and architecting solutions that address unique technical customer challenges.
You'll need 5-7+ years in enterprise SaaS or technical consulting, ideally with a technical or engineering background (computer science, data science, or quantitative fields). Experience in public safety, emergency management, or national security is preferred. You must excel at communicating across audiences, have significant pre-sales experience, and be comfortable with 40-50% travel. The role is based in Canada near a major airport or metropolitan area to support frequent customer travel.
