As a Solutions Engineer, you will be a key technical resource supporting the sales organization and serving as the primary point of contact for customers and partners. Your role bridges technical expertise with business acumen, enabling you to communicate complex cloud security architecture to senior executives including CISOs and CIOs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Exceeding assigned sales targets through technical enablement and customer engagement
- Articulating Netskope's cloud security architecture and benefits to target audiences
- Developing best practices for presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept exercises
- Leading customer success initiatives in your region and resolving satisfaction issues
- Gathering and translating customer technical requirements into product solutions
- Creating and delivering product demonstrations to prospective customers
- Managing evaluation processes, POCs, and RFI/RFP responses
- Presenting at industry conferences, seminars, and trade shows
- Providing competitive intelligence and product differentiation insights
- Supporting cross-functional escalations when needed
You will require 5+ years of experience as a Solutions or Systems Engineer with a proven track record presenting technical information to business executives and architects. Strong technical foundation in Linux, macOS, and Windows systems administration is essential. You should have hands-on experience with mobile device management (MDM/MAM), iOS and Android platforms, certificate and key management systems, and HSM protocols. Excellent communication skills across all levels—from technical architects to C-suite executives—are critical. The role demands strong customer empathy, passion for revenue growth, and comfort with public speaking. Heavy travel within your territory and across the US is required.
