Originally incubated at the Fields Institute in Toronto (a world-recognized mathematical institute), d1g1t is led by experienced financial engineering professionals and backed by top fintech investors. The Solutions Engineer role is a pre-sales position within the Sales group, focused on articulating d1g1t's wealth management value proposition to prospects and clients. This is an individual contributor role for someone who is a team player and comfortable expressing views directly and professionally. Key responsibilities include: supporting the pre-sales process through product demos to prospects and refining pre-sales messaging; designing and refining demo environments to showcase product functionality for different target audiences; gathering requirements from prospects and providing input to product management; contributing to marketing collateral, white papers, and user guides; developing presentations on new or complex topics and updating them as the product evolves; organizing and completing RFP/RFI requests for qualified prospects; and serving as a liaison between Sales and the Financial Engineering team to facilitate knowledge transfer and manage resources. Required qualifications: 5+ years of work experience with demonstrable knowledge in risk, wealth, or portfolio management (performance attribution, portfolio optimization, trading, portfolio construction, stress testing, data science, etc.); strong presentation skills and ability to articulate value propositions persuasively; self-motivation and ability to direct own project work with minimal supervision; professional demeanor with strong time management and rapport-building abilities; solutions engineering experience or familiarity with d1g1t or similar wealth technology solutions; bachelor's degree in a related field. Preferred: programming experience in R, Python, Julia, VBA, or similar languages; master's degree in a quantitative field; professional designations such as CFA, CFP, CAIA, or FRM. The ideal candidate is interested in solving complex problems, moves fast, asks great questions, and challenges the status quo.
