ConductorOne is seeking a Solutions Engineer to drive customer adoption and success for its modern identity governance platform. You'll serve as a trusted technical advisor to prospects and customers, helping them understand identity governance, authentication, authorization, and access control strategies.
Key responsibilities include architecting and delivering technical solutions across IGA, IAM, CIEM, and PAM domains, mapping business requirements into scalable identity architectures. You'll lead workshops, whiteboard sessions, and product demonstrations that showcase the business value of identity automation and zero trust principles. You'll design and implement integration strategies across AWS, GCP, and Azure, leveraging native identity services and entitlement models.
You'll develop deep expertise in identity protocols and standards including SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM, and FIDO2, and be able to explain these concepts to both technical engineers and security executives. You'll build, test, and troubleshoot custom integrations and workflows using APIs, SDKs, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or identity architecture roles. You should have foundational knowledge of authentication and authorization systems (Okta, Entra AD, LDAP, Google Workspace), practical cloud IAM experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure, and comfort with Go, APIs, JSON/YAML, scripting, and automation frameworks. Strong communication skills are essential—you'll explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You should be curious about identity security, willing to travel for customer meetings and industry events, and passionate about helping enterprises solve access management challenges.
